July 2008

Marian finished the Ima L. Teapot print and did a great job! This is not an easy piece to complete and is a stunning piece when done.

Carol Jean has been busy making gifts for some of her friends. She has enhanced and changed some of the little pieces by adding beads and putting them on satin boxes. Those are the best kind of gifts…handmade and from the heart! How many do you have to make?

Marian also finished this crazy quilt pillow top. She tends to get a lot stitched in between her job and helping with her grandkids. How does she do all of those pieces?

May 2008

Katherine is a new stitcher and just finished her first piece!

March 2008

Carol Jean shared with us her original bunka picture she had done while living in Alaska.   These little houses (caches) were fully stocked and placed throughout Alaska and meant there was a cabin close by.   They were put on stilts to keep the wolverines, bears and other critters from helping themselves.   The tradition was, if you saw a cache, there would be a cabin close by and you could use the cabin and provisions; provided you restocked on your way back through.  Only rule was:  leave a note thanking for their hospitality, refill the wood box and close the door!

January 2008

Rosemary’s Silver Bells.

Judy’s Hedgehog.

Cyndi, Miriam, Layne and Judy (and Ellen who was sick with a cold) all finished Primavera! Way to go ladies!

November 2007

Betsy

She’s been working on the Apples to Zinneas for over two years, but now it’s finally done! Yeah!

Claudina

If you look close at her Roses, Roses, Roses, she has painted the fabric background and it makes the piece look so different and unique!

Jane

Is one of our prolific stitches and completed the Fuschias and Butterfly in less than a month.

Jane

Finished these Wild Roses and will probably keep this one for herself! Right?

Kathy

Made this pillow via a stitching method called Boutis. The detail was gorgeous. Look that one up in your stitching dictionary!

Layne

Finished the Christmas Tree in time for Christmas! She changed the ornament colors. Another prolific stitcher in the group!

Lois

Just got back from India and had bought this beautiful goldwork bird picture.

Marian

Another one of our prolific stitches. This was a class at the Silk Pincushion on October 28 and it’s done already! Way to go!

Sue

Is a brand new stitcher from the ASG Fall Fling in October and these are her first Brazilian Embroidery stitches! We are very proud of her!

October 2007

Janee

Janee’s postcard…look at the intricate beading.

Kathy

Kathy has finished the Summer Spray. She has changed the color combination from the original directions.

Kris

Kris has the Seashell. It’s different than the usual flower bouquets.

Layne

Layne has made this stuffed bear. The fur is brown, but has a bluish tint underneath.

Lynda

Lynda is also a knitting instructor in her spare time. Now you see them….

Lynda

...now you don’t!
